Born and raised in the City of Surrey, Manraj's family roots in the city date back to the 60's when his grandfather first emigrated from England searching for a better future for his family. Now one of the fastest growing cities in Canada, the rapid change of Surrey's urban landscape was apparent to Manraj at a young age, living in neighborhoods benefiting from new homes, community centers, parks, and schools - the cornerstones of our society.
Manraj's curiosity about his surrounding environment is one of his strongest attributes. It is this ability and desires to continuously learn that led him down an exciting path in the real estate industry over the past decade.
Real Estate Market Analyst
As a Market Analyst with Vancouver’s reputable real estate development advisory firm Urban Analytics (now known as Zonda Urban), Manraj gathered and interpreted data and intel on the region's new multi-family housing market. Physically visiting hundreds of sales centers, and advising developers and other industry stakeholders on pricing, product mix, and demographic trends, Manraj gained invaluable insights which he utilizes today to find his clients opportunities in this segment.
Manraj is also a successful graduate of UBC's Diploma of Urban Land Economics program.
Acquisitions & Product Strategy Manager
His professional experience also includes the role of an Acquisitions and Product Strategy Manager for a South Surrey-based award-winning multi-family homebuilder. Manraj conducted due diligence and investment analysis on future acquisitions and contributed to the design of nearly 750 residential units that have been brought to market in recent years.
Most recently, Manraj was an Associate Broker for one of Vancouver’s top commercial brokerages, marketing and selling some of the region’s largest apartment buildings and development sites. Conducting both market and valuation analysis, Manraj provided key insights that contributed to the sale of properties located throughout the region. In 2021 alone, Manraj helped facilitate the sale of over $500 million worth of investment real estate.
Manraj’s data-driven and relationship-based approach to real estate sets him apart from others. His ability to gain “specific knowledge” not readily available to most assures his clients are always making the most economic decisions whether buying, selling, or investing. Additionally, Manraj has personally bought, sold, and constructed various real estate assets over the years, adding an additional level of experience to a thoughtful conversation.
